A federal judge in Florida has struck down a Florida prescription drug law that allows doctors to sell and dispense prescription medications without a valid prescription.
In a decision that may be expected next week, the judge in the Eastern District of Florida, John O. Hager, issued a ruling Thursday that could give the state the sole power to regulate the sale and sale of prescription drugs.
